Welcome Dr. Basant Shaheen

Park Dental is excited to welcome Dr. Basant Shaheen to our Park Dental Brookpark practice!

Dr. Shaheen received her Bachelor’s in Dental Surgery from the Misr University for Science and Technology in 2019 and went on to get her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota in 2023. 

Dr. Shaheen chose dentistry because it combines the creativity of art with the precision of science, which is needed to establish a meaningful connection with her patients. She said, “My goal is to provide a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere in which my patients feel heard and understood. I love educating patients about their teeth and empowering them to achieve the best possible oral health.” 

During her leisure time, she relishes spending quality moments with her fiance. She enjoys cooking and trying out different restaurants in Minneapolis. Hiking and kayaking are her two favorite activities because she finds herself connected to nature’s peacefulness and beauty from the outdoors.
