Park Dental Moves into Larger Standalone Practice in Rosemount
July 13, 2020Most patients of Park Dental Rosemount had to wait a little longer than expected to see our new, relocated practice this year, but we think it was worth the wait.
Our Park Dental Rosemount practice has been a part of the community for over 10 years. As the community grew, so did our practice and we quickly started running out of space. With no options to expand our current location, Park Dental started looking for a new space. We knew we didn’t want to move to far from our current location so when a nearby Applebee’s restaurant closed, we knew we couldn’t pass up the opportunity. I live in the Rosemount community with my wife Jasmine and our five children and knew it would be a great location for our patients. However, turning a restaurant into a dental office is no small task.
After lots of hard work, our new practice opened to rave reviews on March 9. Patient comments were effusive. “It looks amazing.” “It’s beautiful.” “I love it!” Our new location is more than double the size of our original location and features nine exam rooms with all new equipment. Unfortunately, the excitement was short lived. Not even a week later, Park Dental made the decision to close all its dental practices as a safety precaution due to the Coronavirus outbreak. It was such a disappointment to have to close so abruptly because we were so excited to share our new space with our patients and the community.
Park Dental Rosemount reopened May 14 and we’ve been as busy as we’ve ever been. Not only have we been working to treat our patients who were unable to come in while we were closed, but we have started to see more new patients as well which is very gratifying. The additional space in our new office has allowed us to add a new doctor team and expanded our business hours, offering more flexibility and convenience for our patients.
Shortly after reopening we welcomed a new neighbor, The Dental Specialists. The Dental Specialists offers endodontic and periodontic care for patients who need to see a specialist for a root canal or gum disease concerns. Having specialist doctors right next-door allows us to collaborate on care and focus on the overall oral health of our patients.
In spite of the hiccup surrounding the practice’s opening due to COVID-19, my colleagues and I feel the new practice space feels like a wonderful accomplishment. It has exceeded our expectations and we are so proud to share the space with our patients. We are much more equipped to handle the increased demand from our growing Rosemount community in a more spacious and comfortable environment, which even allows for proper social distancing.
