What made you choose dentistry?
I’ve always wanted to be a doctor—to help people through their toughest moments in pain. At the same time, I value a balanced life, where I can give my best to both my patients and my family. Dentistry allows me to do just that—making a difference in people’s lives while still having the time to be a devoted mom, wife, and daughter.
What do you love most about being a dentist or what do you find the most rewarding?
The most rewarding part is building trust—helping patients overcome their fears and hesitations through empathy and care, transforming stressful experiences into comfort and confidence, and fostering strong, lasting relationships.
What’s your care/treatment philosophy?
My philosophy is to listen to my patients fully, understanding their concerns, and then guide them by addressing their needs based on what they truly want, rather than what I assume they need.
Is there a particular area of dentistry you enjoy the most or like to focus on?
The best part of dentistry, for me, is meeting new people almost every day during new patient exams. I love getting to know them, addressing their concerns, and building trust and strong relationships that will last as we work together for their long-term dental health.
When did you start or how many years have you been with Park Dental?
I joined Park Dental in January 2021, and this marks my fifth year with the team.
What is one thing you love most about Park Dental?
I can confidently say, without bias, that Park Dental truly values its employees. They create a supportive environment and take consistent steps to ensure team members feel appreciated and are retained for the long term.
What do you enjoy most about being part of a group practice?
What I enjoy most about being part of a group practice is the sense of collaboration and support. Being able to work alongside skilled colleagues allows for shared knowledge and expertise, making it easier to provide the best care for our patients. It also creates a strong sense of community where we can learn from each other and grow together professionally.
And now for a little fun, let’s get to know Dr. Naik on a more personal level!

Program Assistant at the University of Minnesota-St. Paul Student Center.
What do you like to do on your days off?
On my days off, I love starting with a peaceful morning coffee, followed by some yoga and meditation to center myself. Then, I enjoy taking a walk or run outdoors, especially when the sun is shining bright—it’s the perfect way to recharge and connect with nature.
What’s your favorite food or drink?
I absolutely love all types of Indian food, but I also enjoy exploring different cuisines with my husband. It’s one of our favorite ways to bond and discover new flavors together.

My hobbies revolve around finding my inner self through yoga and meditation, which help me stay grounded and centered. What’s your favorite thing about living in Minnesota/Wisconsin?
The funny thing is, I’ve been in Minnesota for over 15 years now, and when I first moved here, I was ready to leave for a warmer state as soon as possible. Never thought I’d say this, but Minnesota has a way of making you fall in love with it. I’ve come to appreciate all the seasons, each offering something special to explore and enjoy. Now, this place truly feels like home.
Do you have any hidden talents?
My hidden talent is being able to tackle any task with efficiency, whether it’s related to dentistry or something outside of it and still excel without compromising on quality.
