Education
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (1996), University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, Minneapolis, MN
- Pre-Medicine/Dental, (1992) College of St Scholastica Duluth, MN
I chose a career in dentistry because of my love of science, art, medicine and the ability to improve people’s lives. I am dedicated to improving the lives of my patients by providing remarkable and compassionate dental care. My obligation is to provide the highest quality of care to every patient and help them achieve optimal oral health and enhance their natural beauty.
I believe in safe and gentle comprehensive dental care. Listening to and understanding each person’s concerns are a large part of forming a treatment plan. I want my patients to make an educated decision about their options that will best fit their needs and desires.
I enjoy general dentistry because it allows me to connect with people of all ages. I promote “first visit by the first birthday” to help educate parents in giving their child the best oral health from the very beginning. I focus on preventive and restorative care; however, cosmetic services can add a whole other level of enjoyment when we see our patients respond to their final result.
Outside of the office:
When not practicing dentistry, I am enjoying time with my family. My husband, Michael, and I are both native Duluthians and try to enjoy all that this beautiful city has to offer. My twin children, Cleo and Zachariah, have added an entirely new dynamic to my life and we try to get in as many activities as we can including, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, All Star Cheer, archery, hiking, swimming, traveling, golfing, horseback riding, reading and watching the multiple “Arts” in Duluth. We also find time to play with our white German Shepard, two Guinea Pigs and Iguana.
