I love my dentist. I drive 3.5 hours to see him because he is really that good! He listens, he is very cautious about drilling my teeth, and usually wants to watch and see what happens with them cs just filling my teeth all the time. I trust him, and I haven't ever had a dentist I could trust.My only wish is I could convince him to move to Grand Rapids mn so he was closer to me. But I'm more than happy to use a couple days of vacation to visit him instead.I am sure you know just how invaluable he is.

I had only one issue that the dentist commented on. It was an area of one tooth that showed signs of a possible cavity forming. He explained that since it hadn't changed since my last checkup, they would just watch it in case it does need filling later.

He didn't ask if I had any problems with my teeth, didn't even spend more than 10 seconds looking at them. Spent all of his time talking about my upper gumms where I have no teeth wanting me to go back to my other dentist to have surgery that I don't want because it's to painful. Absolutely not one word about my teeth.

We will not be returning after this visit. My entire family is switching to our old practice- 45 mins away, due to how bad this visit was. The dentist made a comment about that he could tell my child "eats a lot of candy" before he even had gloves on to look in her mouth. She doesn't eat a lot of candy. He did not Introduce himself when he walked In the room. He was very stand offish and rude from the very beginning. My child is only 4, and he hardly even spoke to me. Then he advised she has a few cavities. I asked how many. He couldn't even tell me. "Umm. 6? 7? 8? At least."What kind of answer is that? Either she has a cavity or she doesn't. And he didn't asked about her hygiene habits to figure out if we actually are taking care of her teeth or not. We brush and help her care for her teeth. Unfortunately some kids get cavities. It seems very frustrating and ridiculous to me that he assumed both my child (and me at my visit the week before) just do NOTHING to care for our teeth. He did not listen, he didn't even hardly speak to us.

I had a sensitive area and Dr. Sankat (sp???) suggested a special mouthwash. I immediately stopped and it was excellent advise. He listens and also has good feedback. My sensitivity was due to foods I had recently consumed that irritated my gums.

The assistant who did the X-ray and helped the dentist was fantastic and very helpful. The dentist was kind and answered any questions I had but quickly left the room without saying much to move on to another visit I presume. Just not the most welcoming feel and didn't feel like I could build a relationship with the staff which is important to me especially having dental anxiety.

He listened and agreed to try sealants instead of fillings, I was very appreciative of his willingness to acquiesce to my wishes. I've never had a cavity and am leery of jumping immediately to fillings. He even suggested a new technique that he has not personally used and I agreed to try that in lieu of traditional fillings.

Excellent information and he included me in on the decisions toward dental care. I have an upcoming total knee replacement in May, and he gave me information about antibiotics with dental work post-surgery no longer being in ADA guidelines. He encouraged me to go online and research the findings before my surgery.

We had a good thorough discussion of why I was not ready to complete the procedures at this time. I appreciate that he gave me a prescription and was able to educate me about the specific difference this toothpaste had as opposed to my traditional pasteand interventions I could take to prevent future cavities. I am planning to return to my 6 month check and will call sooner if I decide to get the recommended procedures done before that time.

The Doctor was the best dentist I have seen in years. He explained everything to me and invited me to watch what he was doing on the computer to make my crown and even offered to let me watch the crown being made. I was very impressed!

he never did an total examination just looked at X-rays no explorer was used how can he tell if you have a cavity on the labial and lingual ? so wasn't impressed..

I've never had a dentist that I've liked before and I truly liked this guy. He was very kind and explained things easily. He was extremely gentle and seemed to honestly care. Much better than the other dentist at the office who I will avoid at all costs. I had planned to leave the practice because of the other dentist.
