I became a dentist because it checks off the boxes for me: Being a dentist allows me to showcase excellence in my work; provide compassion, empathy and kindness in my relationships with patients; and build trust with them. It’s a privilege to get the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life and to keep them smiling. It’s a great honor that I take very seriously.
Outside of work, I’m a professional artist that works in oil, acrylic, ink and woodcut. I enjoy large scale murals, landscapes and portraiture. Watch out or I might paint your dog for you! I am also a competitive swimmer and like outdoor adventures. I ride a Triumph Scrambler motorcycle all summer and am lucky to be at Grand Avenue in Saint Paul because I enjoy eating, too much. I have a daughter in college, a son who is a senior and the youngest boy is a sophomore at Stillwater High.
